The school has been established by Mr. B.K. Birla and Dr. (Mrs.) Sarala Birla to deify the beliefs of Late G. D. Birla, a doyen of Indian industry. Established on July 8, 1987, G.D. Birla Memorial School for Boys was formally initiated on August 15, 1987.

Session

The scholarly year at G.D. Birla Memorial School for Boys comprises of 2 terms:

To start with Term: March to July

Mid-term Break: a month in August

Second Term: September to December

Winter Vacation: Begins after the third seven day stretch of December

Understudies of classes X and XII return in January for a Winter Study Camp.

New scholarly year for different understudies starts in the primary seven day stretch of March.

Assessment and Promotion
