Jay International School is run by Shri V.M.Tanti Foundation established on 26th April, 2006. Trust registration number is E-7948. Jay International School was inaugrated on 21st June, 2007.

The goal set by the Management of Jay International School was to provide quality and global education which was affordable to all the sectors of the society. It played the role of a true intermediary by actively spreading the message of superior syllabi and value based learning of the System to aspiring youngsters, through its understanding of practical life.

  Science Lab : The school has well resourced separate laboratories to conduct practical classes of Physics, Chemistry & Biology. It is ensured that the laboratories are used right from class VI onwards to make the learning of various science topics interesting and application based. Apparatus, specimens, and chemicals are of the standard quality.

  Language Lab : Language is essential for expressing ideas, opinions, views, emotions etc. It is an effective means to effective leadership. One of the essential qualities of an effective leader is the command over oral ability in the language of communication. In other words effective oral communication is a key to successful leadership.

  Math Lab : We, at Jay International School have designed a Math lab which is first of its kind where the models and projects related to different derived equations, postulates and theorems are well maintained and students are encouraged to actually apply their brains to solve some of the math-based problems practically.

  Library : An open access Library and Reading Room is constantly enriched with the latest publications and book editions. It provides a wide range of reading and reference material for students and teachers alike. The Learning Centre is central to each student's academic progress. In it we have shelf space for some 5000 books, with already a rich collection. In addition, students have access to periodicals and audio-visual resources, the Internet and photocopying facilities. The Learning Centre also supports the archiving of the school's various learning resources and records.

  Sports Ground : The adjacent playground includes a grass pitch. Sports and Performing Arts are an integral criteria to the overall development of students. This provides all necessary facilities to encourage the students. There is a multi-purpose court for football, basketball and volleyball. Here children are coached for state and national level competitions. A Roller skating rink, equipped with safety measures is used to train our budding roller-skaters. Activities like dance, yoga and theatre are conducted in special rooms and athletics track, and riffle shooting area providing opportunity for a range of outdoor sports.

  Dance Workshop : The Dance Room provides opportunity for enhancing the art of relaxation and concentration and to foster a healthy body, mind and soul.

  Transportation : The School is less than 24 km away from the center of the city. However, in order to enable the faculty and the students to commute easily to and fro from the school we have made necessary transport arrangements. 30 buses run exclusively for this facility. The students and the staff members are picked up at various places from the city. The School operates 30 bus routes as listed below. The details of bus routes, pick-up and drop-off points and time schedules will be provided by the School at the time of admission of students.

  Auditorium : This is an exquisite part of the school which aims to conduct Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums, Faculty Development Programs, Annual day Celebrations, etc. It is equipped with High end Projection facility, Sound System etc. Interior atmosphere significantly enhance passive Cooling, while natural lighting and ventilation that surround the auditorium will provide the audience a rejuvenating feeling. This massive Hall is characterized by an eye-catching architecture which creates inspiration for viewers. This hall provides space for the accommodation of more than 350 people.

  Hostel : For a good pursuit of knowledge, the right of ambience is essential. Genius has separate residential facilities for boys and girls. Jay International School hostels are spacious, airy, clean and hygienic to say the least. Experienced rectors are available at all times for guidance and counseling. The students are accommodated in groups, so that they do not feel uneasy in the new surroundings. It makes it easy for them to acclimatize to the situation and settle down fast. Constant up gradation of facilities is done to provide the right atmosphere for the students.

  Arts Workshop : Jay International School has a well-modified room for art workshop which is stacked with different arts and craft specimens prepared under the guidance of trained faculty.

  The students are free to practice and expertise their hands on and to express their inner feelings through the medium of art and palette of colours.

   

Program

Pre-Primary (Nursery – Sr. K.G.)

At this stage, our program enables our young children develop their cognitive and motor skills. Through each unit of inquiry, the students' curiosity and imagination is sparked by exposing them to a new world of learning. 'Tender loving care' is the new catalyst in our classrooms.

Primary (Grade 1 – Grade 5)

At this stage, students are exposed to a vibrant world of learning as they think independently and explore new concepts and accept greater challenges. Our program enables students to explore trans-disciplinary themes through the lines of inquiry or six organizing themes visually.

Middle School (Grade 6-Grade 8)

At this stage, the pace of academic demand is accelerated and students are gradually prepared to forge ahead. Students gain a strong foundation and develop into holistic beings. During these years, the smooth transition from childhood to adolescence is facilitated by a comprehensive, value- added education. The academic challenges become the focus as the students start preparing for the Achievement tests. The CBSE as well as the Cambridge syllabi have been designed to equip students with comprehensive and conceptual knowledge of the subjects.

Higher Secondary School (Grade 9 - Grade 12)

At this stage, the CBSE as well as the Cambridge program is undertaken. Students become more focused through their career choices. The focus is on equipping students for higher-based education. In these final years of schooling, students are given an opportunity to exhibit their leadership qualities and emerge as responsible citizens of the world. The syllabi helps students to develop problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to apply knowledge.

Mode of Assessment 

Jay International School/Genius English Medium School focuses on the CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) method which is based on assessment throughout the academic year as Formative and Summative assessment.

The goal of summative assessment is to evaluate student learning at the end of an academic year by comparing it against some standard or benchmark.
