Raffles International School (RIS) Behror Campus, established by Gomber Education Foundation, is a sprawling 25-acre campus situated at Sotanala-Behror, Rajasthan, almost midway between Delhi and Jaipur on the National Highway 8, and just a 2 hours drive from Delhi/Jaipur. The campus is beautifully landscaped with lush green gardens and plazas. It has bright and cheerful classrooms, sports and other recreational facilities which provide an environment where students can grow holistically.

The School is co-educational, offering multiple choices to students of day, weekly or full time boarding. Students from grade III onwards are offered all three choices, while students below grade III are generally offered day boarding facility only. Gomber Education Foundation, registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882, is a voluntary, non- profit making, nonpolitical, non sectarian charitable organization established with the objective of promoting Education, Human Resource Development, Social Welfare and Rural uplift.Late Mr. Vinod kumar Gomber was its Founder President. Its Trustees includes other like-minded eminent personalities who share the passion for promoting and embracing educational excellence in India.

Integrated Pathway of Education: The Foundation is also establishing the Raffles International University at Neemrana, about 20 minutes from Raffles International School Behror Campus, to provide a reliable and globally benchmarked pathway of higher education. The Foundation has thus already begun to realise its dreams of providing an integrated pathway of holistic education for all students, starting from the early development age in the Kindergarten through to maturity ages in tertiary and professional programmes. Our Founder V.K Gomber was an eminent and visionary NRI, had founded The Gomber Education Foundation to fulfill his vision of establishing world-class, integrated educational institutions. He was the chief executive officer of Emaar Properties that covers strategic planning, monitoring and management of execution, systems and processes, legal, human resources, treasury, finance and tax planning and corporate communications. He also looked into the day-to-day operations of Emaar group’s subsidiaries in Dubai and its operational arms across the world V.K Gomber had been Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of RSH Limited, Singapore, before joining Emaar Group. He was credited with leading RSH group from 1994 to 2006 and transforming a company into a pan-Asian Marketing, distribution and retail giant for sports, active lifestyle and fashion products A post-graduate in Chemistry, he also had post-graduate diplomas in Banking, Finance and Business Management. He was a Harvard Business school alumnus, having completed his advance Management Development Programme from the prestigious institute in 1992. Facilities

Raffles International School is a Senior Secondary Co-educational English Medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi. Our Institute is fully equipped with cutting edge educational facilities. We implement all types of co-curricular activities, sports and games facilities into every student’s curriculum so that they experience an all-rounded development of their mind and personality. Our carefully maintained, sprawling campus extends over 25 acres, containing buildings that have been designed by renowned architects. Ample open spaces accentuate our territory, as ideal spots for our students to play in and perform healthy outdoor and Indoor activities in harmony with nature. Administrative Block The Administrative Block of the school is a well-planned and spacious building that consists of the vast Reception area and the well-laid out corporate sector that includes the Director’s office, the Chairman’s office, the office of the IT Co-ordinator, The Principal’s office, the Accounts Office, the Superintendent’s Office, the Administrative Officer’s office, the Conference Hall and Waiting Lounge area. Academic Block The Academic Building is a source of inspiration and creates an atmosphere which instigates students to perform well to prove their level best. The class rooms are well equipped with Edu-com software and are spacious with well ventilated areas. Hostel The school provides residential facilities for boys and girls on campus. All the hostels are well appointed and have all the facilities that help the children live and grow in an environment that they can identify as their home. Trained staff members, including a housemistress and a housemaster, along with a whole range of support staff, are entrusted with the well being of the children and to ensure that the needs of our pupils are fully met. Our hostels are fully provided for with beds, wardrobes and study desks, offering our students a clean, comfortable and homely environment. A spacious common room offers computers, LCD TV and other entertainment facilities to students. Guided study hours in the evenings are maintained. Nutritious and healthy meals are served in a neat and hygienic environment. The House Parents of the boys and girls hostels provide a caring environment to all students. In addition, experienced supervisors ensure special care of younger students. Medical facility is available in the campus round the clock. Medical Care The school has an in house doctor to look after the medical needs of the students. In addition the school also organizes regular health checkups every term.

The school keeps a detailed record of the medical history of each student and appropriate medical care is provided as and when required. The school also has a panel of renowned medical specialists whose services are available to the school students as and when required. The Refectory The school dining room provides nourishing, healthy, and balanced meals to the students. The school’s chefs design the menu, keeping in mind the needs and desires of the children. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are served and the students often play an active part in menu planning. The school offers a blend of appetizing food along with health juice and energy drinks as well. The cafeteria is aimed at providing the students with quality and hygienic food. Swimming Pool RIS has a swimming pool which gives students a chance to improve their aquatic skills. Qualified staffs impart training to the students and maintain operational facilities. We do have a separate female / male staff member to teach the girls and boys.

Gymnasium The school has a well-equipped gymnasium which provides facilities of Cardio, weight and multi gym.

The school aims to improve aerobic fitness and kinaesthetic ability, as well as improvement in task orientation, ego orientation and social self-efficacy of the students.

Sports Participating in school indoor and outdoor sports and games activities provides a means for students to more meaningfully engage with their education, increase academic performance and attendance and provide life skills taught through sports-based youth development. There are various indoor and outdoor sports and games activities carried out in school. Educational Facilities Library In an age defined by connectivity and global collaboration, Raffles International School library is information hub providing 24/7 access to dedicated library which contain a wealth of carefully selected digital resources. Specialist library staff empower students as learners. Support for inquiry learning is provided through a sequential development of skills which enable students to successfully engage in a digital information environment. It is stocked with plenty of books in various categories and a number of periodicals and newspapers.

The unique feature of the library is the ‘Open Access System’ which enables students to access any book freely. Chemistry Lab The Chemistry lab is a well-ventilated hall and it provides a clear and hygienic ambience to carry out experiments. The lab is annually upgraded with the latest equipment and safety gadgets. Chemistry Lab is an integral part of School for Science students. It allows students to explore chemical concepts, view chemical changes, and acquire scientific skills in an atmosphere similar to a professional scientific environment.

Chemistry Lab contains a fully equipped teacher station suitable for demonstrations and lab work. Student workstations should be arranged throughout the remaining work area. The chemistry lab contains moveable lab stations or fixed lab stations.

Physics Lab Laboratories are helpful in creating and promoting scientific attitude in the students. Biology Lab The Biology lab, Students are given opportunity to learn by performing practical’s. Students are tested their theoretical knowledge practically for its validity under the supervision of lab instructor and teacher. Before start practical, students were given the knowledge of compound microscope i.e. parts of microscope and their uses and how to handle the microscope.

Students are made to observe the ways of handling the glassware’s and chemicals etc. To provide firsthand knowledge to the students about the subject the biology lab is fully equipped with all the required specimens, thus helping students to acquire necessary skill and confidence in an innovative environment. Computer Lab computer-labThe school is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection for enterprising students get a chance to be familiar with the Internet. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations. Math Lab Mathematics Laboratory is a place where students can experiment and explore. In math lab students find collection of games, puzzles and learning materials. Those materials are used by students with their teachers to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, learn and develop an interest in mathematicsOur goal is to provide a comfortable environment in which students understand various math concepts. Math Lab makes it easier for students to figure out lessons. School is obligated to strengthen the practical mathematical skills of the students. The performance of students improves through experimentation in Math. Tools, special software, drawing boards and models to teach are introduced.
